What exactly is personal data?

A data controller: who is it?

Why do we use your data?

To manage our loyalty program;

To send you offers and news about our company;

To manage any unpaid bills and disputes that may arise;

What personal data do we use?

In order to carry out the above-mentioned treatments, we collect the following data:

Your first and last name;

Your date of birth;

Your postal address and e-mail address;

Your landline and cell phone numbers;

Your browsing data.


Who do we share your data with?

Members of our staff

Your data is only accessible to those persons who are authorised to process it by virtue of their function (such as members of our marketing, sales, logistics and IT departments as well as members of our control and legal departments).


Our subcontractors

We also pass on your data to our subcontractors, who are responsible for processing it on our behalf and who have the necessary guarantees for its protection, such as our transporters.


Our partners

Your data may also be transmitted to our trusted partners working with MODELTA and applying appropriate confidentiality measures.


The payment service providers

Your data is collected directly by our payment service providers: STRIPE. The latter collect, process and use the payment data in order to provide payment services to each user wishing to order products on the Site. The payment data will be processed by our service providers in accordance with the strictest security rules applicable in the e-commerce sector. In particular, transactions are carried out by a secure and encrypted process according to the state of the art.


Other organizations

We may also transmit your data to organizations, auxiliaries of justice and ministerial officers, when the law obliges us to do so.


How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data indefinitely: we delete your data when it becomes unnecessary. For example, we only use your customer data for the duration of our business relationship, and three years after our last contact (whether you are a prospect or a customer).

We may keep this data for a longer period of time if it is necessary to prove a claim or if it must be kept in accordance with a legal obligation. In this case, the data will be stored in an archive, i.e. separately from other data, and for a period of time that complies with the legal obligations or time limits stipulated by law.


What are your rights to your data?

You have many rights regarding your data and the use that is made of it. You can request access, rectification or, if necessary, deletion of your data. In some cases, you can also object to the processing of your data or request that it be limited.

You can also ask us to provide you with the data you have given us in a structured, machine-readable format, which is known as the right to portability.

On another note, you can also establish directives (general or specific) as to the fate of your data after your death, and register these directives with a trusted third party; certified by the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS).
